About Vancouver Autism Support
Vancouver Autism Support is a family-centered support service dedicated to improving the emotional, psychological, and developmental well-being of autistic children and their families.Our approach emphasizes compassionate, evidence-informed support through child and parent consultation, psychoeducational guidance, and family support services. We work collaboratively with families to enhance understanding, strengthen coping strategies, and support healthy emotional and developmental growth.The founder of Vancouver Autism Support holds a Master’s degree in Psychology of Exceptional Children from the University of Tehran and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Canada. She has over ten years of professional experience in clinic management, child and family consultation, and interdisciplinary teamwork.In addition to her clinical and managerial background, she has university-level teaching experience in the field of child psychology and special education. She is also the author of the book “Which Toy Is Appropriate for My Child’s Age?”, a specialized resource designed for children with learning disabilities and special educational needs, focusing on developmental appropriateness and therapeutic play.Professional licensure in Canada is currently in progress. All services are provided within the scope of non-diagnostic, non-clinical counselling, psychoeducational support, and parent consultation. Vancouver Autism Support does not offer psychological diagnoses, assessments, or regulated mental health treatment.At this stage, services are offered exclusively online, with a strong commitment to accessibility, ethical practice, confidentiality, and culturally sensitive care.
